T&Cs for the 15% Lifetime Discount

If you purchase a new health insurance policy in certain countries, you’ll receive a 15% lifetime discount for as long as you renew that policy. The 15% lifetime discount is subject to the terms & conditions below.

  1. We’ll apply a 15% lifetime discount [the “Discount”] to the premium you pay for a new health insurance policy. We’ll apply the Discount to the premium as long as you renew your policy and for as long as you remain eligible for the Discount.
  2. Only individuals and families purchasing a new policy with a start date between 01 June 2024 and 31 December 2026 (inclusive) are eligible for the Discount.
  3. Child-only policies are not eligible for the Discount.
  4. New policies with a start date of 01 June 2024 or after, but for which the policyholder paid the premiums before 01 June 2024 (before the Discount was launched), are only eligible for the fading discount. Your certificate of insurance states if which discount applies to your policy.
  5. The Discount applies to all optional benefits, including enhanced well-being, the maternity options, Dental Basic, and Dental Plus. The Discount does not apply to the optional personal accident plan.
  6. You’re not eligible for the Discount if you’re resident in Indonesia and you select Zones 2, 3 or 7 as your coverage zone.
  7. Eligibility for the Discount depends on the policyholder’s country of residence. New policies are not eligible for the Discount if the policyholder resides in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Singapore (as of 01 January 2025), Mexico (as of 01 January 2025), Thailand (as of 01 January 2025), or the United Arab Emirates. However, in the United Arab Emirates we’re running a separate promotion for individuals and families purchasing a new policy.
  8. The Discount will cease if the policyholder relocates permanently to a country that’s not eligible for the Discount.
  9. New individual customers with Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Vietnam, China, Japan, Macao, Mauritius, Malawi, Botswana, Chile, Costa Rica, or India as their country of residence are eligible for a different promotion.
  10. If you’re an an existing policyholder and you wish to benefit from the Discount, you must cancel your policy and re-apply for a new policy with a start date no sooner than 90 days after your original policy was cancelled. Your application for a new policy will be subject to full medical underwriting, and we may apply exclusions and/or loadings in respect of pre-existing medical conditions and related conditions.
  11. We reserve the right not to apply the Discount when we offer you a new policy.
  12. The Discount will apply to new members who join your policy once it has started.
  13. The Discount will apply to upgrades and changes you make to your plan once your policy has started, provided the policyholder’s country of residence remains an eligible country.
  14. The Discount isn’t available in conjunction with other offers, discounts, or promotions.
  15. We reserve the right to alter the T&Cs of the Discount, or to withdraw the Discount entirely, at any time.
