What do the plans cover?

Our plans provide cover for private healthcare while you’re living and working abroad. There are four plans with different levels of cover, but all the plans provide cover for the following:

Benefit Description
Hospital costs
  • Hospital treatment
  • Surgery
  • Advanced diagnostic tests
  • Accommodation
  • Road ambulances
Cancer treatment
  • Treatments including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and drugs
  • Genome testing of cancer cells
  • Wigs following chemotherapy
  • Counselling following treatment
Everyday medical costs
  • Primary care (e.g., doctor visits)*
  • Physiotherapy*

* You only have cover on the Bronze plan for follow-up treatment once you’ve been discharged from hospital.
Mental health treatment
  • In-patient psychiatric care*

* Not available on the SilverLite plan.
Emergency medical evacuation
  • 24-hour emergency medical helpline
  • Evacuations

All our plans give you some cover for physiotherapy. Your level of cover depends on your health plan.

Am I covered for routine check-ups and vaccinations

Yes—if you have a Silver or Gold plan. These plans give you cover for preventive health and well-being checks and cover for immunisations and booster injections.

Am I covered for dental treatment?

All our health plans give you cover for emergency restorative treatment you receive as an in-patient. Beyond that, the cover you have depends on your plan and what options you chose.
