Stacking up the benefits
We launched a range of winter promotions to remind our existing and potential customers about taking global health cover into 2018. And with the countdown already begun, we gave them a little nudge for inspiration with an offer of a US$100 voucher with every new health plan.
After 25 years at the forefront of international health, life and income protection, we’re only too aware that the cost of health cover tends to show a steady increase annually, as treatments become more advanced and competition between healthcare providers intensifies.
As an insurance provider, we consistently aim to balance any increase in premiums with a corresponding extension of benefits and cover limits. And let’s not forget that the cost of annual cover pales into insignificance when set against the potential cost of uninsured emergency treatment, medical evacuation or cancer care.
Even if health cover represents an investment as much as an expense while living overseas, it’s always tempting to think either ‘It won’t happen to me’ or ‘I’ll sort it out later…’
It’s time to focus on health
So this year we took a proactive approach and offered a voucher for those who take out a new health plan before 28 December 2017. Each new policy holder will receive a US$100 voucher. It’s our way of making sure our expats are covered, and giving them a little extra.
The gift that gives
That’s not all. We’re also making a US$50 donation to a choice of three charities with each new health plan. We have chosen three charities that share our commitment to health, wellbeing, and community: Action Aid, Unicef, Doctors without borders.
Why our cover is different
New customers can pick up a voucher to spend on gifts or treats, make a difference to our three charities, and enjoy the peace of mind that they’re covered by our range of innovative health plans. We’ve built our reputation, after all, on plans that offer:
- International cover that moves with you
- Innovative plans to suit your needs
- Comprehensive cover for cancer treatment
- Access to hospitals worldwide
- Talk to dedicated call handler straight away
And, of course, there’s still plenty of time to organise your own personal health cover. To see a full list of plans available for your country, click here…
