We have two categories of countries where there is limited or no cover.
We cannot provide health plans to people who are living in the USA, Iran, North Korea, Libya, South Suda, Syria, Switzerland or Yemen.
We cannot provide health plans where the policyholder is resident in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Comoros, Chad, Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Senegal or Togo. However, we can cover non-policyholder members who are resident in one of these countries, provided the policyholder is not also resident in one of these countries.
Life plans and income protection:
We cannot provide life or income protection plans to people who are living in Iran, North Korea, Libya, South Suda, Syria, Switzerland or Yemen.
We cannot provide life or income protection plans where the policyholder is based in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Comoros, Chad, Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Senega, Togo or the USA. However, we can cover employees who are resident in one of these countries, provided the employer is not also based in one of these countries
Applicants must be under the age of 70, but members can renew their plan for as long as they require – even if their health deteriorates.
Applicants must be under the age of 70. Members can renew their plan until age 70, regardless of their state of health.
Applicants must be under the age of 56. Members can renew their plan until age 65, regardless of their state of health.
Applicants may apply for a life benefit up to 20x their current annual salary for individuals and 5x current annual salary for business employees. The maximum amount they can insure is US$2,000,000.
Applicants may apply for annual income cover of up to 75% of their current annual salary, subject to a maximum amount of US$144,000.

Members who prefer to pay their premium annually can pay be credit or debit card or bank transfer.
Members who prefer to pay their premiums monthly, half-yearly or quarterly can pay only by credit card or debit card. If a member is paying in Pounds Sterling from a UK bank account, they can pay their premiums by Direct Debit.
Our plans are available in US dollars, Pounds Sterling, and Euros.
Customers purchasing a health plan do not need a medical examination.
Customers purchasing a life plan or an income protection plan may need a medical examination and additional tests. We will advise customers upon receipt of their application forms. If a customer does need a medical examination, they can have one locally with any doctor holding western qualifications. The medical examination report must be in English.
Our health plans do not cover pre-existing medical conditions and related conditions, unless the member tells us about such a condition in their application and we agree to cover it.
Once a member’s health plan is in force, however, their personal claims experience will not affect their renewal premium.
