We also cover groups of 3-9 employees and 10-39 employees.

Essential health insurance plans

Essential Care and Essential Care Plus provide health cover in regions where the cost of treatment is generally lower than the rest of the world and this is reflected in our rates. The Essential plans are available in Africa, South America, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia and parts of the Middle East.

In addition to standard underwriting methods, we can offer Medical History Disregarded (MHD) for larger employee groups.

Elite health insurance plans

In addition to full cancer cover, in-patient and day-patient treatment and also Medevac, the Elite plans all include kidney dialysis, and the Silver and Gold plans include well-being* and well-child cover*, cover relating to pregnancy* and childbirth* as well as the option to enhance dental and optical benefits. *waiting periods apply

Group protection plans

Help give your employees financial security in the event of illness, injury or death, with income protection cover up to US$200k. For 20+ employees, we do not require individual employee application forms.

With life cover up to US$2m you'll provide financial security for an employee's family, should they die from injury or illness. For 6 -19 employees we offer automatic cover levels.

Accident benefit enhances life cover further, where injury or death is caused by an accident. Up to US$500k limits are available.

Group plans & benefits

With William Russell, you can choose different plans for different categories of employees. Our flexible group cover offers great employee benefits, and you can include dependents, too.

Please note that pre-existing medical conditions and related conditions are not covered by our plans, unless you have told us about them and we have agreed to cover them.  

We cannot provide cover if your business is based in Iran, North Korea, Libya, South Sudan, Syria, Switzerland, Yemen, USA, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Comoros, Chad, Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Senegal or Togo.

Our policies are not available to residents of the United States of America but provided you are not a resident of USA, you can add cover for temporary trips to the USA, subject to a limit of  $100,000 and a maximum period of 45 days, or subject to a limit of $250,000 and a maximum period of 90 days.

In some parts of Africa and the Indian Subcontinent, you can choose Area 4 cover Elite, giving you comprehensive, high-level benefits but at a premium in line with medical treatment costs in the region.
