Michael joined William Russell in 2018 and is a member of the company’s senior leadership team. He runs the company’s sales teams worldwide, and before the pandemic, he was accustomed to jetting between London, Dubai, and Hong Kong. Away from work, he’s a father of three and a husband of one, an avid F1 fan, and a long-suffering Arsenal supporter.
With over 25 years of experience in private healthcare, I know my way around the international health and protection markets better than most. I’ve worked both for insurers (including BUPA and Aetna) and brokers, dealing with many different customer segments and commercial situations.
At William Russell, my primary focuses are commercial enablement, driving improvements to our member experience, and managing strategic relationships with brokers and insurance partners around the world. From webinars to face-to-face consultations with customers, I’m involved with different teams right across the business.
We’ve recently launched an exciting programme of technology and product development. It’s all about making our customers’ lives easier and making it easier for our brokers and insurance partners to do business with us. We already have a strong reputation, but what we’re doing now will help us cement our position as the leading independent provider of expat insurance worldwide.
