New sales professionals appointed to develop world-wide broker network

 

International expatriate insurance specialist, William Russell, has made a substantial commitment to its world-wide network of intermediaries by restructuring and expanding its global sales team.

As part of their commitment to providing brokers with unparallel levels of service and support, William Russell has appointed six new sales professionals to enhance broker relationships and generate new opportunities for business growth.

Irena Lykiardopoulos joins the UK headquarters as Broker Relations Manager in charge of a newly structured team of four Internal Broker Consultants. Each Broker Consultant will be responsible for generating leads with new intermediaries, building and developing existing relationships, increasing sales potential, and delivering product and service training.

Irena Lykiardopoulos, Broker Relations Manager, William Russell, elaborates:
“My team will be predominantly office based and each member will work in tandem with a front-line consultant who will spend much of their time in the field with brokers. Each micro-team will be dedicated to a regional panel of brokers ensuring the most effective way to support our intermediary partners.”

Robyn Patterson teams up with Andrew Pletza to increase William Russell’s global footprint in Africa; Gavin Royston and Megan Lewis will work with brokers in the United Kingdom, whilst Fiona Simpson will be developing relationships with brokers in Europe and the rest of the world; Christina Ningkan continues to service brokers in Asia Pacific from William Russell’s Malaysian office alongside a Broker Consultant who will be placed shortly.

The five new members of the broker sales team join from leading insurance companies such as Bupa and Zurich International Solutions.

In the United Arab Emirates, Dubai Insurance Company has appointed Doreen Mboss as Corporate Account Manager for William Russell’s Global Health, Global Life, and Global Income plans.
