A Corporate Account Manager is appointed to manage and strengthen key international insurance accounts, and a local claims team is established to enhance the process and payment of member claims.
Since their collaboration with leading local insurer Dubai Insurance Company began in May 2008, international insurance specialist William Russell has seen phenomenal growth in the sales of their international health, life and income insurance plans throughout the UAE. Figures reported recently show a 53% increase on new group sales in the first quarter 2010 compared with the same period in 2009, and 100% of all company policies renewing since November 2009.
The demand for William Russell’s Global Plans amongst companies requiring protection for their international employees has been such as to substantiate the expansion of the Dubai-based team with the appointment of a client relationship professional and a claims administrator.
Doreen Mboss joins as Corporate Account Manager and boasts 5 years experience of broker-facing health insurance sales, with the last year and a half specifically in the expatriate marketplace. Doreen will be responsible for managing existing corporate accounts directly with company representatives or through their intermediary partners, and building opportunities for new business.

Gracia Licayan joins Eden Malanban to process and pay eligible medical claims locally. Out-patient claims were previously processed in William Russell’s headquarters in the United Kingdom.
The move enhances the service that William Russell and Dubai Insurance Company can provide to group and individual Global Health plan members based in the United Arab Emirates. Plan members are still free to choose where they are treated, with their claims managed in local time-scales and currencies. Group plan members can also access the Neuron Network of medical providers for direct billing convenience.
