International expatriate insurance specialist William Russell announce an expansion to their network of providers to extend cashless out-patient access to medical treatment in China and Hong Kong for expatriates who select a Global Health Elite insurance policy.In addition to customary in-patient direct settlement where they guarantee payment for hospital admissions and pay directly to the hospital, William Russell offers affordable walk-in convenience at a number of leading hospitals and clinics in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
Expatriates in China have already enjoyed the convenience of the provider network and can continue to opt for direct billing in return for a small annual premium surcharge
reducing from 10% to 7.5% on 1st July 2009. From this date, Hong Kong residents can also benefit from the scheme at no additional cost when they take a nil excess.
Expatriates with access to the network and treatment covered by their plan, simply present their membership card to receive treatment for routine and minor conditions without the inconvenience of first having to foot the bill and then claim later.
