Upon receipt, we will confirm whether or not your claim is covered by your plan. If it is, we will arrange reimbursement of all eligible expenses in accordance with the instructions you give on the claim form.

Once you are within 2 months of your due date, you will need to contact us to obtain pre-authorisation for the birth.
Please call us on +44 1276 486460 or email firstname.lastname@example.org, providing the name and contact details of your treating doctor and the hospital where you are due to give birth.
We will then contact the hospital directly to obtain costs and ask them to complete our Maternity Notification of Admission form.
Once we have received this information, we can confirm whether the costs are reasonable and customary. If so, we will settle eligible costs directly with the provider, provided that the care is delivered during your current period of cover. Please note that if the birth is due to take place after your period of cover expires, we will be unable to authorise the cost of the birth until after you have paid your renewal premium.
In the unfortunate event that you should suffer from a complication of pregnancy and require in-patient treatment, please contact us as soon as possible with the details of your treating doctor and hospital.
We will then contact the hospital and ask them to complete our Maternity Notification of Admission form.
Once we have received this, we will assess the claim and confirm whether the treatment is covered. If it is, we will arrange for the authorised costs to be settled directly with the provider.
