The Essential Care Plus plan is designed for expatriate employees who require comprehensive but cost-effective cover. The plan provides cover for all the essential health care benefits.

- The freedom to choose where the employee would like to have their treatment
- Available in US dollars only
- $5,000 per pregnancy for medical conditions arising from complications of pregnancy after 12 months
- $10,000 out-patient treatment
- Full cover for emergency ward treatment within out-patient treatment limit
- $1,600 for road ambulance charges
- $50,000 life-time limit for palliative care
- $10,000 for emergency in-patient dental treatment
- $2,500 for up to 5 years for in- & day-patient HIV/AIDs treatment after 24 months
- Option to enhance the standard benefit by adding maternity, dental or optical cover if required
- Optional Global Travel and Personal Accident plans are available in addition to the Health cover
AREA OF COVER
The Essential plan range is available if your employees live in Africa, Latin America, and most Asian and Middle Eastern counties. They will have full cover within their region, plus restricted cover for accident and emergency when they travel outside this region. No cover is provided in the USA, Canada, the Caribbean and the London area.

The Global Health plan comes with a 30-day money back guarantee. If you are not entirely satisfied with the plan, tell us in writing within the first 30 days of your cover and, subject to there having been no claims, we will refund the premium in full.
