If you’re on a budget the Global Health Essential plans offer excellent value-for-money cover for the expensive elements of health care such as hospitalisation, out-patient treatment and emergency evacuation by excluding cover for ‘extras’ such as alternative medicine, psychiatric care and maternity care.
Essential is available to residents of Eastern Europe, Russia, Africa, the Middle East, certain countries in Asia Pacific, the Indian Sub-continent, and Latin America. There is no cover in the USA, Canada or the Caribbean.
