Our Global Health Essential plan will provide full cover in over 180 countries around the world. To keep your premiums to a minimum, we have excluded some countries from cover and restricted certain other countries to accident and emergency cover only.
Excluded Countries
No cover at all is provided in:
The United States of America, Canada and the Caribbean.
Restricted Countries
Cover is restricted to accident and emergency treatment only in:
All EU countries, Andorra, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Greenland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino and Switzerland.
Australia, Bali, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan.
Accident and emergency treatment means unexpected, emergency treatment your employees require following an accident or an unforeseen illness covered by their plan, whilst on a temporary trip to a restricted country.
A temporary trip is a trip for business or pleasure of not more than 90 days duration.
Any accident and emergency treatment you receive in a restricted country is subject to an annual limit of $50,000.
The Global Health Essential plans provide must-have benefits with international cover at highly affordable prices. Find out how you can further reduce your premiums to suit your company's budget.
