William Russell Limited was founded in June 1992 by Inez Cooper. Today, twenty years on, we have grown to become a leading specialist expatriate insurance provider, internationally trusted by thousands of expatriates, and international travellers.

William Russell remains an independent, family-run business to this day, with many members of the Cooper family involved. Inez (pictured left) says: “Because we are a family business, we focus on the personal touch. Profit is not, and never has been, our motivation. Our motivation is to be trusted and respected for what we do and how we do it. That means delivering good, honest service courteously, efficiently and consistently.”

Businesses cannot stand still, and William Russell is moving with the times with a big investment in IT to ensure that our policy holders can enjoy all the benefits of online technology, without losing access to our staff when they need to talk. We also invest in our people, taking the time to train them in their roles, and in all the skills they need to provide our clients with the highest standards of service and care.
